  1. This is the port of gnuplot 3.2 to the MSDOS for 386/387.
  2. It's DPMI compliant and is a 32-bit program. You need at least
  3. a 386 to run it. There are two versions of this program -- gnuplot.exe
  4. works on machines that don't have a math coprocessor and will take
  5. advantage of the FPU on machines that do have one; gnuplot7.exe only
  6. works on machines equipped with an FPU and is faster than its counterpart.
  7. The shell to dos command doesn't work because it's not supported yet 
  8. by the dos extender that comes with the Zortech C/C++ compiler 3.0 
  9. which is used to compile this program.

  11. vdpmi.sys is included in this package for people who want to run 
  12. it under the OS/2 2.0 GA because the vdpmi.sys that comes with the 
  13. operating system contains a bug that will prevent you from running 
  14. this program in the DOS box (it runs fine under Windows 3.1 enhanced 
  15. mode.) Replace the vdpmi.sys in \OS2\MDOS with the one that comes 
  16. with this package and reboot.
